Wells, the smallest cathedral city in England is only 20 minutes away and Salisbury and Stonehenge about an hour from us. The attractive market towns of Castle Cary and Sherborne are close by. Visit Glastonbury, famed for the legends of King Arthur - climb the Tor and look round the Abbey.  Lyme Regis on the the World Heritage Jurassic coast of Dorset is about an hours drive.
